Privacy Policy
Folded is built around one simple promise: what you write stays with you.
This privacy policy explains how Folded handles your information. The short version is that it doesn't, your letters never leave your device.
Letters you write, the photos you attach, and the delivery dates you choose are stored only on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage. Folded has no servers, no user accounts, and no cloud sync.
Nothing. Folded does not collect personal information, analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers, or usage data. There are no third-party trackers in the app.
Folded asks for permission to send notifications so it can remind you when a sealed letter is ready to be opened. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device by iOS and do not involve any server. You can disable notifications at any time in your iPhone's Settings.
If you attach photos to a letter, Folded asks for permission to access your photo library. Selected photos are copied into the letter's local storage on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere.
Folded does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
